The Bird and The Bear

How I wish that I was like the bear
I could sleep through weather that wasn't fair
I do envy the bird up in the air
Take flight to the south without a care
But I'm forced to live in a place that doesn't sleep
Where the air is filled with death and the road ahead is bleak
If you'd come and stay, or take me away
I can only dream, that I'd hear you say:

Winter's over, and with it too

O the snow came back as if to gloat!
I was left outside without a coat
Serves me right for all the times

But I'm forced to live in this skin I just cant love
